I thought this was kind of interesting.

" I've been getting multiple reports from different HNMLS on my server. It has been reported that killing the random mob that pops weakens the boss and stops him from spamming a particular TP move which if remained unlocked, will make beating the boss impossible. Therefore, defeating the random popped mob is key to winning.

Examples

Two different groups that had the Marid for bosses, the first group reported when they ran in to an all out melee/nuke zerg , the Marid would use a move similar to healing breeze and cure itself to 100%. This group also did not kill the random mob. My guess is that this isn't TP triggered, but while that ability remains unlocked, it is triggered by a certain % of HP if the random mob is not killed, so manaburning it is not possible (still theory however).

On the other hand, the 2nd group that went in killed the random mob, and the Marid's ability to full cure itself was "locked" when they started killing it as normal.

Oh and btw, the Wivre boss has crazy HP and defense. It's "HP Trigger" move has not been confirmed to be that full cure like the Marid, but it CAN spike flail which I have been a witness to lol, which will proceed to wipe the alliance. It could possibly be the trigger move for it. "
